The Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council asked Joe Wilmers, a long time member of WAC and founder of Friends to Winton Hills Academy, to host a 12-member delegation from Africa on November 5th, 2024 to learn about how we support children at risk. The delegates from 6 different countries met at WHA and heard from Ihsan Walker (former WHA student), Joe and staff from Saturday Hoops, another organization that Joe helped to create many years ago to inspire kids from this neighborhood and others to believe in themselves.
